Privacy

AquaTiny collects no data.

Last updated: 6 November 2026

AquaTiny is a small aquarium game for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, made by Vui Le (vuihoai). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: nothing leaves your devices except to your own iCloud, and we never see it.

What we collect

Nothing. AquaTiny has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data, and we cannot see your aquarium.

Your aquarium and iCloud

Your aquarium (its creatures, decorations, Collection, Journal notes and the names you give) is saved on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps your devices in sync through your private iCloud database. That data belongs to your Apple Account and is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we have no access to it. You can turn iCloud off for the app in your device's settings at any time.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; the app only learns which items you own, so it can unlock them. We never see your payment details.

Notifications

Notifications are off unless you turn them on in the app's Settings. They are planned on your device; nothing is sent from a server.

Widgets

The Home Screen and desktop widgets show a picture of your tank. The app passes it to them on the same device, through a shared folder only AquaTiny can read.

Photos you share

When you take a photo of your tank, the app saves or shares it only where you choose, using the system share sheet.

Children

AquaTiny is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
